I was asked to make a site specific intervention at the Los Lavaderos gallery in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, for the 1st Art, Architecture and Landscape Biennale of the Canary Islands. For the duration of one week, powerful searchlights were installed above the entrance to the gallery and activated every evening. Access to or from the building was denied while the revolving lights scanned the immediate area.
